Silence of time is a Concept performed by three accordionists. An atmospheric concert centered around the music of Toshio Hosokawa. Hosokawa’s music has the power to dissolve the listener’s sense of time through its slow, organic movements and subtle transformations. Guided by sounds time stretches and bends. Sudden, unexpected musical events break through stillness, momentarily changing listener’s perception and drawing attention to the fragility of time. In the silences, time does not stop - it becomes audible. Silence of time. (In truth time can never be silent, because it is always moving forward.) Quiet moments create a space where sound and silence are equally expressive. Hosokawa invites the listener to dwell in the present, fully immersed in a world where time seems to stand still within silence.
